A Gist of the Affiliation Board ICSE & ISC

The school is affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi (C.I.S.C.E.), which is parallel to CBSE, New Delhi. The C.I.S.C.E. is committed to serving the nation's children, through high quality educational endeavours, empowering them to contribute towards a humane, just and pluralistic society, promoting introspective living, by creating exciting opportunities, with a commitment to excellence. The examinations conducted by this Council are widely respected and accepted as the benchmark of success for any student. The Council for ISCE mainly conducts two examinations.

The Indian Certificate of Secondary Examination (ICSE):

This examination has been designed to provide an examination in a course of general education, through the medium of English. This examination, in accordance with the recommendations of the New Education policy1986, is equivalent to class X examination of any other national or state board.

The Indian School Certificate Examination (ISC):

This examination, similar to CBSE class XII examination, is held through the medium of English. A student takes this examination two years after he / she completes class X examination of the board.

The national admission and accreditation agency in the United Kingdom UCAS (Universities and College Admission Services) has recognised ISC examination at par with the Higher School qualification of the University of Scotland. Hence, the Indian students, who have completed the ISC examinations of the council, have been exempted from appearing the English proficiency tests like TOEFL, IELTS etc. in order to enable them to pursue higher education in foreign countries.
